Amuru Deputy RDC Acham Proscovia Endorses Gen. Muhoozi for President in 2031.

Amuru–Amuru Deputy Resident District Commissioner (DRDC), Acham Proscovia, has endorsed Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba for President come 2031.
While speaking on Thursday to Tayari News Uganda, Acham said she has joined several dignitaries and patriots who have endorsed the Chief of Defence Forces to succeed President Yoweri Museveni.
“I have joined several dignitaries and patriots to endorse Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba as our country’s President come 2031,” Acham said.
She said the endorsement is a grassroots expression of the will of the people calling upon Gen. Muhoozi to lead Uganda once President Museveni, whom she described as the father of the nation, a mentor and a vibrant President with a big heart, retires.
“This is my inner heart opinion and expression of confidence in a leader who has already dedicated his life to the defence and development of our country, including Amuru District,” she said.
Acham clarified that the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) does not compete with the National Resistance Movement (NRM), but complements it.
“PLU works closely with the NRM. It does not compete with the NRM; it complements it. The NRM remains our political home, while PLU provides a civic platform to organise citizens, especially young people, around patriotism, national service, and the defence of Uganda’s gains,” she said.
