Teso Pressure Group Kazi Ni Kazi Set to Endorse Muhoozi for Presidency.

TESO SUB REGION – A Teso-based pressure group, Kazi Ni Kazi, led by former Ngariam County aspirant Hon. Dan Mulalu, is set to endorse Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba for president.
The planned endorsement is part of the group’s collaboration with the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) to consolidate support for Gen. Muhoozi ahead of the next general elections.
According to organisers, the launch will bring together various stakeholders to discuss the Teso Agenda, a working document that will be unveiled alongside the endorsement.
Hon. Mulalu said the group is ready to rally support for Gen. Muhoozi.
“We are ready to mobilize support for Gen. Muhoozi as he represents a new vision for Uganda. Our coalition with PLU strengthens our resolve to push for meaningful change in our communities,” he said.
He commended the PLU secretariat for its support and thanked Gen. Muhoozi for endorsing the initiative, noting that collective effort is needed to rally citizens behind a common cause.
The move by Kazi Ni Kazi highlights the growing influence of grassroots pressure groups in shaping national political discourse ahead of the 2026 general elections.
Political analysts say the endorsement could have significant implications for the political landscape, particularly in the Teso sub-region, where local interests and aspirations are expected to influence voting patterns.
