Kwania Assistant RDC Obada Caesar Rallies the Youth in Lango on Patriotism as CDF Gen. Muhoozi Turns 52.

KWANIA, UGANDA – April 27, 2026: The Kwania Assistant Resident District Commissioner (ARDC), Caesar Obada, has called upon the youth in Lango sub-region to embrace patriotism and unity as fundamental pillars for national development.
Obada made the remarks on Sunday, April 26, 2026, while addressing the media at the Mayor’s Gardens in Lira City during Gen.Muhoozi Kainerugaba birthday run. The event was part of the celebrations to mark the 52nd birthday of the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chairman of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
The ARDC commended Gen. Muhoozi for his distinguished service in the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF), noting that his leadership has been instrumental in maintaining the peace and stability currently enjoyed across the country.
“Sustained peace has created an enabling environment for socio-economic growth, investment, and wealth creation in Lango and Uganda at large,” Obada stated.
He further noted that the values of hard work and harmony exhibited by Gen. Muhoozi should serve as a blueprint for young people seeking to contribute to the nation’s progress.
“As we celebrate his 52nd birthday, I urge everyone to adopt the spirit of patriotism. Unity is the foundation of development. Let us continue to work hard and support Gen. Muhoozi for the betterment of our community,” he added.
The celebrations in Lira City were highlighted by a fitness run, which Obada described as a “real test of fitness.” He also expressed gratitude for the General’s patriotic spirit, particularly his initiative to donate to babies’ homes and support vulnerable groups.
The event drew several youth leaders and supporters of the Patriotic League of Uganda from across the sub-region, all echoing the call for national cohesion.
