AMURIA — The Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Amuria, Mr Eseru Paul, has invited all LC3 chairpersons in Greater Amuria County to mobilise residents for community Barazas scheduled for Friday, September 18, 2026.
In a letter dated September 16, 2026, the RDC asked chairpersons of Amolo, Wera, Abarilela, Asamuk Town Council, Asamuk, Abia, Apeduru, Amuria Town Council, Kuju and Willa to ensure all community members attend the Barazas at their respective sub-county headquarters starting at 11:00 a.m.
According to Mr Eseru, the Barazas will provide an opportunity to address and clarify issues concerning cattle compensation, the Parish Development Model (PDM) and other matters affecting the community.
He said all community members are required to come with their National Identity Cards to facilitate proper validation and verification of issues relating to PDM and cattle compensation.
“Your active participation and mobilisation are highly appreciated. Please ensure that the message reaches all communities in your respective sub-counties,” Mr Eseru said.
The Barazas are part of the government’s efforts to enhance transparency and community engagement on key programmes.
