Head Teacher Otoa Isaac Praised for Commitment as Adyel Boarding Primary Pushes for 100% Attendance in Term III.

Lira City -The head teacher of Adyel Boarding Primary School, Mr Otoa Isaac, has been commended for his commitment to improving academic performance as the school enters the second week of Term III, 2026.
Mr Otoa, who is known for his hands-on approach to school management, has appealed to parents to support the school by sending back all learners without delay.
Addressing the media last week from his office, the dedicated head teacher said only about 80 pupils out of more than 1,000 are still absent, and he is working tirelessly to ensure they report by Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
He said Adyel Boarding P/S, one of the leading government-aided schools in the region, has put in place committed and qualified teachers, especially for Primary Four to Primary Seven, to ensure effective teaching and learning.
According to Mr Otoa, Term Three is the most critical period for consolidating syllabus coverage, conducting continuous assessment and preparing candidates for national examinations (PLE).
“The successful implementation of Term III, 2026, will depend largely on effective planning, regular revision, teacher commitment and learners’ attendance,” said Mr Otoa, who has consistently emphasized discipline, teamwork and early syllabus coverage.
Parents and local leaders have lauded Mr Otoa for his visionary leadership and for reminding parents of their core responsibility in their children’s education.
A parent only identified as Richard Obua of Amuca Ward, Lira city commended Otoa for being a hard working school administrator who has made pupils to shine both in classroom and during co-curriculur activities.
Mr Otoa called for unity and teamwork between parents, local leaders and the school to achieve better results, stressing that children should not be kept at home but be allowed to study for a better future.
