Obongi Women Council Boss Scovia Aletiru alias” Mama Museveni” Endorses Muhoozi for 2031

OBONGI, UGANDA. The Chairperson of Women Council Obongi Town Council and Chairperson of Obongi Women Council, Hon. Aletiru Scovia alias Mama Museveni, has declared that Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has already exhibited skills of a President and is generally fit and ready to lead the country.
Hon. Aletiru was speaking at a thanksgiving celebration to mark her election as Chairperson Women Council Obongi Town Council and Chairperson Obongi Women Council held at the Yellow Brigade grounds in Obongi.
She said since the NRM and the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) are one, women in the district are on standby to campaign and vote for Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba Museveni as President.
She therefore appealed to Ugandans to vote Gen. Muhoozi come 2031.
Aletiru challenged those in the opposition to stop wasting time in the opposition and join the NRM, which she described as the only way to go.
She specifically challenged Hon. Hamid Aliga, the District Councilor for Obongi Town Council who was elected on the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) ticket, to join the NRM and stop wasting time in the FDC.
Aletiru, who is a former Leader of Opposition in Obongi District on the FDC ticket, made the gathering laugh when she said she is now shining because of joining the NRM after getting rid of FDC.
She promised the women of Obongi development through the numerous government-funded programmes.
The Chief Guest at the celebrations, RDC Kwesiga Eva, promised to work with Hon. Aletiru Scovia and other elected women leaders forbthe development of Obongi District.
The celebrations were marked by cultural dances and praise songs for the NRM party members.
