The Territorial Police in Lira-City Central Division have opened a Death Enquiry File (DEF) to investigate the mysterious death of Opio Robert, a 45-year-old manager at Rehema Hotel, located in Tedam Cell, Barogole Ward, Lira-City West Division.
According to preliminary reports, Opio was found lifeless in one of the hotel’s rooms on the morning of October 28, 2025, at approximately 7:30 a.m.
Staff members revealed that on the evening of October 27, the deceased had been in the company of colleagues before retiring to his room at an undisclosed time.
