Kole North Women Vow 93% Vote for MP Opio Acuti Citing Transformative Empowerment Initiatives
Kole North, Uganda – The incumbent Member of Parliament for Kole North, Dr. Samuel Opio Acuti, is witnessing an unprecedented surge of support from female constituents who credit his wide-ranging community programs for significantly improving their livelihoods.
Women leaders in Kole North District are reportedly targeting a massive 93 percent vote for Dr. Acuti in the 2026 general elections, recognizing his impactful contributions to healthcare, vocational skills development, and economic resilience.
Dr. Acuti’s focus on uplifting women has been demonstrated through several key initiatives designed to foster economic independence and enhance overall well-being in the constituency.
Transforming Lives Through Skills and Health
Central to Dr. Acuti’s empowerment agenda has been the establishment of vocational training centers. These facilities provide critical skills such as tailoring and hairdressing, enabling hundreds of women to acquire market-ready expertise, generate income, and build crucial self-reliance.
Beyond economic skills, the MP has made significant strides in improving access to healthcare, particularly for pregnant mothers. Dr. Acuti donated ambulances to boost maternal healthcare services, a critical intervention aimed at reducing preventable deaths among expectant women in the area.

Aceng Jane, a mother from Aboke sub-county, voiced unwavering political support. “I vow to support and vote for MP Samuel Opio Acuti in 2026 because he is always focused and fearless to solve the problems affecting the community, including fighting corruption,” she stated.
Akello Sylvia, a 36-year-old resident of Okwerodot, urged fellow constituents to mobilize massive support for the incumbent.
“Let’s vote for Dr. Samuel Opio massively in the forthcoming general election,” Akello narrated, confirming the strong political momentum building behind the MP due to his tangible social contributions.
