KOLE NORTH, UGANDA – Dr. Samuel Opio Acuti, the incumbent Member of Parliament for Kole North Constituency, has officially announced his intention to launch a standard mega ‘practical manifesto’ as he seeks re-election in the upcoming 2026 general elections. Running as the official flag bearer for the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party, Dr. Acuti is positioning his campaign around a platform emphasizing continuity, comprehensive youth empowerment, and deepened socio-economic transformation.
In his declaration, Dr. Opio Acuti affirmed his commitment to securing a second term (2026-2031) serving the people of Kole North Constituency. All is now set for him to highlight plans to unveil a detailed vision during his official “Mega Launch of Practical Manifesto,” scheduled for November 10, 2025. The MP promised that this manifesto would feature “more practical and inclusive solutions” aimed at significantly improving wealth creation and the overall livelihood of his constituents.
Focus on Youth Skilling and Vocational Training
A central pillar of Dr. Acuti’s prospective second term is the aggressive expansion of youth empowerment initiatives. Building on existing programs like the Youth Livelihood Programme (YLP) and established youth skilling centers, the MP outlined ambitious plans to establish free vocational training schools in every sub-county and town council within Kole North.
