NGORA ,UGANDA– Ngora District is a hive of activity, as MP Acayo Lodou moblizes the vibrant yellow community of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party, as preparations reach a climax for the highly anticipated visit of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. The Head of State is expected to arrive tomorrow, Tuesday, 4th November 2024 for a massive campaign rally .
Hon. Juliet Achayo Lodou, the Member of Parliament for Ngora County, has taken the lead in rallying the district’s residents, urging them to turn out in massive numbers to welcome the President. She described the visit as a profound honour for Ngora and a significant opportunity for the community to reaffirm its commitment and loyalty to the NRM cause.
“Ngora is ready to receive our beloved President General Yoweri Museveni Kaguta with pride and thanksgiving,” Hon. Achayo stated. “I call upon all our people — the youth, women, elders, and leaders — to storm Ngora Town Council Grounds early in the morning. Let us paint the venue yellow and show our support for the man who has transformed our country.”
Indeed, across Ngora, the mood is one of jubilant anticipation. Trading centres are alive with flags, songs, and chants, reflecting the growing excitement for President Yoweri Museveni’s arrival.
The President’s visit is part of his ongoing campaign tour of the Teso sub-region, during which he is expected to address key issues pertaining to development and mobilization within the area including the five cattle compensation per household.
