KAMPALA – As the curtain falls on the 11th Parliament on May 12, 2026, the three legislators representing Kole District are finalized for their official swearing-in ceremonies at Parliament House later that week.
The Clerk to Parliament has released a detailed schedule that will see the Kole District Woman MP-elect and the two constituency representatives take their Oaths of Allegiance and Member of Parliament on May 13 and May 15, respectively.
Hon. MP-elect Sandra Aceng Leads the Way:
The Kole District Woman MP-elect, Hon. Sandra Aceng, will be among the first group of legislators to take the oath on Wednesday morning, May 13, 2026. Her swearing-in marks a significant moment for Kole as she prepares to champion women’s empowerment and regional development in the new legislative term.
Kole North Opio Acuti and Kole South MP Boniface Okot are Scheduled for swearing- in on Friday.
The two constituency MPs will conclude the district’s swearing-in cycle on Friday morning, May 15, 2026.

- Hon. Dr. Samuel Opio Acuti, the MP-elect for Kole North, returns to the House with a focus on health and socio-economic transformation.
- Hon. Bonny Okot, the MP-elect for Kole South, is expected to join his colleague on the same morning to officially begin his mandate.
