State Minister for Northern Uganda Hon Beatrice Akello Akori named PLU NO.065 among latest PLU appointments.

Kampala,Uganda, June 28, 2026: State Minister for Northern Uganda Hon. Beatrice Akello Akori has been assigned Patriotic Officer Number 065 [PO 065] in the latest appointments announced by the Patriotic League of Uganda [PLU].
Hon Minister Beatrice Akori who also serves as Agago District Woman MP in the 12th Parliament, was named alongside other ministers. Among other Ministers who were named with officer number were;the minister for Public Service Hon Lydia Wanyoto Mutende [PO 066], Paul Komol Lotte [PO 067], Kiryandongo District Woman MP Jovia Katusiime [PO 068], former Government Chief Whip Denis Hamson Obua [PO 069], and Thomas Lomuria Abong [PO 070].
According to PLU Director of Communications Andrew Mwenda, the numbering reflects members’ historic role in founding the organization and their seniority within its structure.
The appointment of Minister Hon Akello Akori drew jubilation and happiness from the National Resistance Movement supporters and PLU supporters in Agago District and Northern Uganda as a whole.
