GULU, UGANDA: Northern Uganda is set to host a major two-day festival aimed at showcasing the region’s cultural heritage, agricultural potential and emerging investment opportunities.
The Northern Uganda Festival 2026 is scheduled for December 11-12 at TEGOT Farmstead, a 125-acre working farm located about 12 kilometres east of Gulu City along Moroto Road.
Organisers say the festival will go beyond entertainment to create a platform where businesses, farmers, cooperatives, financial institutions, government agencies, innovators and consumers can interact, network and explore opportunities in Northern Uganda.

The festival will feature traditional food and dance, art and craft exhibitions, live music performances, farm tours, nature trails and discussions involving farmers, cooperatives, banks, buyers, investors and innovators.
According to organisers, more than 30,000 people are expected to attend physically, with a further 500,000 projected to be reached through radio, television and social media platforms including Facebook, X and TikTok.
Farmers and cooperatives are expected to constitute 40% of the on-site audience, while youth and agripreneurs will account for 45%. Investors, banks, government agencies and non-governmental organisations are expected to make up the remaining 15%.
“The North is rising,” the organisers said, describing the festival as a platform to position Northern Uganda as a destination for visibility, investment, cultural exchange and economic opportunity.
The festival will provide sponsorship and partnership opportunities for companies seeking to reach consumers and stakeholders in Northern Uganda.
The highest sponsorship category, Platinum, is valued at Shs200 million, with only two slots available. Platinum sponsors will receive naming rights across event platforms, speaking opportunities during opening and closing ceremonies, sector exclusivity, a 50-by-50-metre activation area, 20 all-access passes and a post-event report.
The Gold package, valued at Shs100 million, is limited to four sponsors and provides main-stage access, prominent branding, a 25-by-25-metre activation area and 10 VIP passes.
Silver sponsorship costs Shs50 million and includes branding on the festival website and booklet, a 10-by-10-metre exhibition booth, six VIP passes and promotion across social media.
The Bronze package is valued at Shs25 million, in cash or in-kind, and includes a five-by-five-metre exhibition space, product-sampling rights, two VIP passes and brand acknowledgement.
Media organisations can participate through an in-kind media partnership involving airtime in exchange for branding and access.
Organisers said part of the proceeds will support a community initiative aimed at improving livelihoods of farming households across Northern Uganda. The charity partner will be announced later.
TEGOT Farmstead, the venue, is a working agricultural estate with a protected 25-acre natural forest. It can be accessed by driving approximately eight kilometres east along Moroto Road from Gulu City before turning left at the TEGOT Farmstead signpost and proceeding for another five kilometres.
Security, first aid and sanitation services will be available, while camping facilities will be provided at a fee. Visitors intending to camp have been encouraged to carry their own tents.
Organisers have set September 18, 2026 as the deadline for sponsors and partners.
