RDC Onyuk Andrew rallies Apac Residents to turn up in Large Numbers for National Cleaning Day.

APAC – The Resident District Commissioner for Apac District, Mr. Onyuk Andrew, has called upon all residents of Apac to turn up in large numbers and participate in the National Cleaning Day slated for Saturday, August 29, 2026.
In a mobilization message released to the mesia on Friday morning, RDC Onyuk said the exercise will run from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. as part of the nationwide monthly clean-up program.

“As RDC’s Office Apac, we call upon all the community from Apac to come out and participate in this nationwide program,” Onyuk said.
The exercise is being conducted under the theme: “A Clean Apac, A Healthy Apac, A Proud Uganda! Let’s make cleanliness our culture!”
According to the Office of the President, the National Cleaning Day is observed on the last Saturday of every month and involves cleaning of roads, markets, drainage channels, schools, health facilities and other public spaces.
RDC Onyuk said: “Let’s keep Apac clean. Together we can!”
A woman only identified as Apio of Apac Municipality said she is ready for the exercise as early as 6:00 am cone Saturday 29th, 2026.
