Apac RDC Andrew Onyuk Leads Residents in Wonderful National Cleaning Exercise.

APAC – The Apac Resident District Commissioner (RDC), Mr. Andrew Onyuk, on Saturday, August 29, 2026, led a general cleaning exercise in the district. The cleaning exercise was joined by several people of all walks of life including market vendors, business community, Boda Boda, security team among others.
The exercise, which ran from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., was part of the National Cleaning Day programme conducted countrywide.
RDC Onyuk was joined by the District Police Commander and oseveral law-abiding citizens.
According to the RDC, they worked together with residents to slash bushes, pick rubbish, weed and open trenches.
“We participated in Apac together with the DPC and itger leaders as we joined residents to slash, pick rubbish, weed and open trenches,” Onyuk said.
He commended residents for their enthusiasm and active participation in the exercise and thanked the wananchi for turning up in large numbers during three (3) solid hours of cleaning exercise.
