Koboko District Council Welcomes New RDC Hashaka, Vows to Fight Corruption.

KOBOKO – The Koboko District Local Government Council has thanked President Yoweri Museveni for deploying Mr. Samuel Mpimbaza Hashaka to Koboko as Resident District Commissioner.
The council, steered by the Speaker of Koboko District Local Government, Rt. Hon. Baker Richard, officially welcomed Hashaka to the district during an ordinary council sitting.
The Speaker described Hashaka as one of the most experienced RDCs in Uganda and said his deployment to Koboko will help develop the district.
“The council is ready to work with you to ensure good service delivery,” Baker said.
The District Vice Chairperson also welcomed Hashaka to Koboko.
The NRM District Women League Chairperson, popularly known as Mama Museveni alias Hon. Aletiru Scovia, together with her executive, attended the function. She was accompanied by the NRM administrator for Obongi, Mr. Aliga Gabriel, who congratulated the newly elected district women council leaders.
The Director of Finance at the NRM Secretariat, Hajati Medina, welcomed Hashaka to Koboko and pledged to work with him in developing the district.
Hajati Medina warned corrupt officials in Koboko that their time was up following Hashaka’s deployment.
In his speech, RDC Samuel Mpimbaza Hashaka thanked the council for welcoming him.
Hashaka disclosed that under the Kisanja Hakuna Kulala term, all corrupt officials would be wiped out.
He warned the Chief Administrative Officer’s office against hiding information about government-funded programmes, disclosing that the RDC’s office had written to the CAO requesting information on government-funded programmes and a list of civil servants, but the information was not provided.
