ARUA RCC, KOBOKO RDC ENDORSE GEN MUHOOZI FOR PRESIDENCY

ARUA CITY – A section of Resident District Commissioners (RDCs) and the Resident City Commissioner (RCC) in West Nile have endorsed General Muhoozi Kainerugaba as the next President of Uganda.

The endorsement was made during the launch of the West Nile regional endorsement for Gen Muhoozi held in Arua City.

The officials include Arua City RCC Maj. Betty Otekat and her assistants, Koboko RDC Mr. Samuel Mpimbaza Hashaka, Deputy RDC Koboko Haji Marijani Walire, and Assistant RDCs Aloro Habib and Baguma Rashid.

The event was organized by the West Nile regional PLU coordinator, Hon. Jackson Atima.

The launch was attended by several leaders, including Members of Parliament, former MPs and residents (wanainchi) who declared support for Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s presidential bid.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Atima thanked the RDCs and RCCs for endorsing Gen Muhoozi as President in 2031.

In their remarks, RCC Maj. Otekat and RDC Hashaka said they were happy to be part of the team endorsing Gen Muhoozi, describing him as a patriot, nationalist and pan-Africanist who loves Uganda and Africa and is a fighter against corruption.

The West Nile endorsement adds to a series of regional declarations by the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) pressure group in support of Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s future presidential ambitions.
