LAMWO — Lamwo Resident District Commissioner (RDC), Mr. William Komakech, has urged Senior Four candidates in the district to remain confident and report early to their examination centres as they prepare for the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations.
Mr. Komakech said candidates should avoid fear and last-minute panic, noting that early arrival at examination centres will help them settle and prepare mentally for their papers.
The RDC made the call on Sunday evening ahead of the UCE examinations that start on October 12, 2026, across the country.
He advised candidates to put God first, trust in their preparations, and remain disciplined throughout the examination period.
“Remain confident, arrive early at your examination centres, and avoid panic. You have prepared well for this moment,” Mr. Komakech said.
He also cautioned candidates against involvement in examination malpractice, warning that it could ruin their future.
He wished all candidates in Lamwo District success and excellent UCE results.
