HH Won Ateker Papa Me Kumam Raphael Otaya, Wishes Success to all 2026 PLE Candidates.

As Primary Seven candidates across the country prepare for the forthcoming 2026 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), the Paramount Cultural Leader of the Kumam people, Won Ateker Papa Me Kumam, His Highness Raphael Otaya, has extended his heartfelt wishes for success to all candidates.
In his message, His Highness has specifically wished success to candidates in Kaberamaido, Kalaki, Soroti, Dokolo, Nakasongola, Kumi, Ngora, Amolatar and Serere, as well as all candidates sitting for PLE in Teso, Acholi, Lango sub-regions and beyond.
His Highness appreciates the tireless efforts of teachers, headteachers and all school administrators, and more so the entire education department, for preparing the learners.
“May God give you wisdom and may you pass with flying colours in the forthcoming PLE in early November 2026,” His Highness prayed.

He has requested all parents to give extra time to all P.7 pupils to study and do last-minute revision. He called upon all candidates to be punctual at their examination centres, to read the instructions carefully and not to panic.
“Wisdom comes from God,” said Raphael Otaya.
His Highness Otaya also commended His Excellency President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for the constant improvement of the education system in the country, noting that since the National Resistance Movement (NRM) took power in 1986, education has been fully empowered through the Universal Primary Education (UPE) system.
The cultural leader further appealed to schools to, where possible, prepare a small lunch for the candidates for the two days, especially during the PLE examinations.
