Hon. Johnson Nyeko Kezekiya, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) flag bearer for Lamwo District, has launched a passionate appeal to the people of Lamwo, pledging to restore ‘lost hope’ and usher in an era of unity and development if elected Member of Parliament in the forthcoming 2026 general elections.
Speaking to the media recently from Lamwo district headquarters , Kezekiya rallied residents to unite and vote for him overwhelmingly, promising improved service delivery throughout the constituency.
“Get to know that this opportunity will never present itself twice, so use it maximally by giving overwhelming support to Hon. Johnson Kezekiya as the next MP for Lamwo constituency,” he declared.
Kezekiah emphasized a critical shift for the district, stating that Lamwo stood “on the path of recovery from politics of sabotage and individualism to that of socio-economic transformation, wealth creation, and development.”
Beyond his personal aspirations, Kezekiya also strongly urged constituents to vote for President Yoweri Museveni Kaguta.
He linked the President’s continued leadership to the realization of key government development programs such as the Parish Development Model (PDM), Emyooga, and the Uganda Women Entrepreneurship Programme (UWEP), which he believes are crucial for Lamwo’s advancement.
“We can’t watch Lamwo sink into anarchy when we have a golden opportunity in the candidature of a person like me, Johnson Nyeko Kezekiah,” he stated, appealing to the community’s sense of shared responsibility.
“Let’s get this done together, brothers and sisters, in that history will judge us rightly.”
He further stressed the importance of securing a better future for the youth, adding, “Our children should find when this mess is already sorted out, for a better Lamwo.”
Among his specific pledges, Kezekiah committed to significantly improve agricultural production in Lamwo District, a key sector for the region’s economic growth.
Kezekiah’s campaign is framed around a clear vision of unity, development, and a call to action for the people of Lamwo to secure a prosperous future for the next generation.
