RDC Obongi Hasaka Mpimbaza Urged Residents Not to Kill Defilers but make the perpertuaters Face legal redress.

OBONGI, UGANDA-March 27, 2026: The Obongi Resident District commissioner (RDC) Samuel Mpimbaza Hasaka has advised residents of Obongi District not to kill defilement suspects but instead tgwy should complain to the top police leadership called “police standard unit” in Kampala over their outcry about alleged mishandling of files by some police officers in Obongi CPS.

Last week, a reknowned defilement suspect mysteriously disappeared from Obongi central police station as some section of the community resolved to start killing defilers.
The defilement suspect who raped, defiled and attempted to kill a 15-year-old pupil in Obongi district, has mysteriously disappeared from Obongi Central Police station due to alleged connivance by the police.
Bongida Ibrahim aged over twenty years raped and defiled the minor on last Saturday early morning.
Residents arrested him with parents of the victim and handed him over to police at Obongi CPS after some residents wanted to kill him.
On Sunday Bongida escaped from Obongi after which he was rearrested with the help of concerned community members
Today the suspect again escaped from Obongi CPS with the alleged involvement of the police.
The parents of the victim and the community are accusing police and a clinical Officer at Obongi health center 4 of trying to frustrate the defilement case intentionally becasuse of a God faghwr behind him.
Meanwhile residents of Obongi have resolved to start killing all defilers because police in Obongi are frustrating DEFILEMENT cases.
On belated women’s day celebration, a 26- Year-old man raped, defiled and killed a 13- year-old pupil of Chinyi P/S in Palorinya subcounty.
The wanainchi killed the defiler saying they were sure he would be released after arrest like he was released by police after he stole a motor cycle.
RDC Hasaka has called on the police leadership and the judiciary commission to send an independent team to Obongi district to investigate the matter before the comminuty begin taking the law into their hands.
