Obongi Woman MP Hon. Maneno Zumura Congratulates H.E. President Museveni for being a vibrant leader.

As Uganda prepares for the official swearing-in of H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni tomorrow, May 12, 2026, Hon. Maneno Zumura, the Woman Member of Parliament for Obongi District, has extended her heartfelt congratulations to H.E the President of tge Republic of Uganda.
Hon MP Zumura, a stalwart of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM), joined the list of several leaders from the West Nile region praising Museveni’s visionary leadership and his resounding victory in the 2026 polls.
A Call for Continued Development.
In her congratulatory message, MP Maneno highlighted the President’s commitment to regional stability and wealth creation in Obongi and tge entire Uganda. She noted that the President’s new term, under the theme “Protecting the Gains: Making a Qualitative Leap into High Middle-Income Status,” offers a fresh opportunity to address pressing local needs, including infrastructure and electricity for Obongi District.
“We congratulate Mzee upon this milestone. His victory is a testament to the trust Ugandans have in his ability to lead us toward socio-economic transformation,” she stated.
Mobilization in High Gear.
The MP’s message comes as final preparations are concluding at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds. Over 35 Heads of State are expected to attend the historic event, which has been declared a public holiday.
Zumura, who recently secured her NRM flag for Obongi Woman MP Obongi, urged her constituents to join the nation in celebrating the inauguration, emphasizing that the new term will focus on bridging the implementation gaps in government programs like the Parish Development Model (PDM),EMYOOGA among others.
The inauguration marks the beginning of President Museveni’s seventh elected term.
