The address concluded a highly successful, one-day financial literacy training organized in partnership with the Microfinance Support Centre (MSC).
Three Community Learning Centres Slated:

To ensure the long-term success and accessibility of the educational campaign, Dr. Opio Acuti revealed that his office has finalized plans to construct three community learning centres across the constituency.
The infrastructural development will see specialized training facilities built in Okwerodot, Alito, and Aboke Town Council. These centers will serve as learning centres whereby internet services, FAL program and other skilling programs such as non-formal education, vocational skilling, and continuous community empowerment will be available at all times in some months to come .
“This 2026–2031 term is strictly going to be a term of work,” Dr. Opio Acuti declared. “It is absolutely critical for every resident living in Kole North County to join hands and kick illiteracy out of our sub-counties by embracing this upcoming adult learning framework.”
Restoring Dignity Through Literacy:
The MP outlined that the primary objective of the program is to give older adults who missed formal schooling the practical tools needed to navigate modern economic life independently.
By learning how to read and write, beneficiaries will be empowered to identify simple everyday infrastructure like road signposts, read the Bible in their local languages, manage their business ledgers book without exploitation, and comfortably converse in basic English.
Constituents attending the financial symposium praised the dual-pronged approach of linking low-interest government loan with functional literacy. Local leaders noted that by providing free educational infrastructure directly to the electorates, he will be building a transparent, self-reliant population capable of driving its own socio-economic transformation as well as living a decent wealthy and standard life without illiteracy.
A 56-year-old woman called Apio Stella of Alito Town council, stated that she is more than ready to join the adult class praising Hon Opio Acuti for such a brilliant idea.
