Kampala, Uganda-June 27, 2026: The Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) has assigned Patriotic Officer numbers to several high-profile government officials, including the Speaker of Parliament, the Deputy Speaker, and various cabinet ministers. Former Government Chief Whip and Ajuri County MP Hon. Denis Hamson Obua has been assigned Number 069 within the Patriotic League of Uganda [PLU] organizational structure.According to Fadil, the numbers were awarded by the PLU Chairman, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, in recognition of the officials’ efforts toward the growth of the organization and their adherence to its founding principles.
The full list of the newly designated Patriotic Officers includes: PO 059 Rt. Hon. Jacob Macksons Oboth, PO 060 Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa, PO 061 Hon. Kiryowa Kiwanuka, PO 062 Hon. Anifa Bangirana Kawooya, PO 063 Hon. Dr. Charles Ayume, PO 064 Hon. Nyamutoro Phiona, PO 065 Hon. Beatrice Akello Akori, PO 066 Hon. Lydia Wanyotto Mutende, PO 067 Hon. Lotte Paul Komol, PO 068 Hon. Katusiime Jovia, PO 069 Hon. Hamson Obua Denis, and PO 070 Mr. Abong Thomas Lomuria.
