Gulu RDC’s office rallies residents ahead of National Cleaning Day.

GULU, UGANDA: Ahead of the second National Cleaning Day slated for August 29, 2026, the office of the Resident District Commissioner (RDC), Gulu District, has intensified sensitisation of the population.
The Gulu Deputy Resident District commissioner RDC, Mr Cosmas James Okidi, together with the District Health Inspector, Mr Fred Opio, held a radio talk show at Rupiny FM located in Gulu City to disseminate information and sensitise residents about the exercise.
The Gulu District cleaning committee has also written to all Sub-county Sub-county Chiefs (SAS), LCIII chairpersons and GISOs to lead mobilisation and enforcement and to share pictures of cleaning activities in their respective areas.
