Lango Cultural Institution Announces Won Nyaci Run 2026 to Support Persons with Disabilities

LIRA – The Lango Cultural Institution under the leadership of Won Nyaci Me Lango has announced the Won Nyaci Run 2026 scheduled for October 24, 2026.
The run will be held at Old Akii Bua Stadium in Lira City under the theme: “Running for Our Culture, Our Health & Our Future.”
According to the organisers, registration and aerobics will start at 6:00 am, while running will kick off at 7:30 am.
All proceeds collected will contribute to a collective effort of improving mobility, dignity and independence for persons living with disabilities through provision of free wheelchairs and adjustable crutches.
The organisers said running kits are available at Shs 30,000. Payment for kits can be made via mobile money number 705559 under Lango Cultural Institution, or through Centenary Bank, Account Name: Won Nyaci Me Lango, Account Number: 3100108409.
