Apac MP Bernard Otim leads Massive Lango mobilisation for Muhoozi endorsement in Lira City

LIRA CITY – Apac District Member of Parliament, Hon Bernard Otim Odoch, is at the forefront of mobilisation as Lango Sub-region prepares to endorse Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba Museveni for the 2031-2036 presidential term.
The endorsement ceremony is slated for October 4, 2026, at Mayors Garden in Lira City.
Hon Otim Odoch, who represents Maruzi North, is rallying patriots from across Apac and the entire Lango sub -region to turn up in large numbers to make the event historic.
According to the legislator, the Lira gathering will provide a platform for the people of Lango to come together and speak with one voice in support of Gen Muhoozi.
“The gathering will provide an opportunity for citizens from the region to come together and express their support for the endorsement of Gen Kainerugaba for presidency come 2031,” Hon Otim Odoch said.
The lawmaker noted that the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) presents a new opportunity for Uganda to embrace young leaders and front the vision of a corruption-free state.
Supporters say under Hon Otim Odoch’s mobilisation, PLU in Lango is gaining momentum as a movement for youthful leadership anchored on integrity, accountability and national development.
