NWOYA-UGANDA: The Minister of State for Northern Uganda, Hon. Beatrice Akello Akori, has visited the Nwoya District Mixed Farmers (NDIMIFA) SACCO, a savings and credit cooperative serving farmers, women and refugees across Northern Uganda.
During the engagement, Minister Akori commended the SACCO for its contribution to agricultural development, mechanisation, financial inclusion and improved access to financial services for its members.
She urged members and leaders to look beyond access to loans and place greater emphasis on member education, adoption of modern digital financial tools and financial discipline.
“Sustainable cooperative development requires informed members, responsible financial management and effective use of technology,” Hon. Akello said.
The Minister encouraged the NDIMIFA leadership and members to continue strengthening the cooperative as a platform for improving livelihoods, expanding economic opportunities and supporting inclusive development in Northern Uganda.

A woman only identified as Apio Anna commended the minister for such a fruitful visit to the members of the SACCO.
