Deputy RDC Aturu Abraham lauded the collaborative efforts of the Police and security agencies, emphasizing the commitment to rid Aduku Town Council and the broader Kwania District of criminal elements.
However, the arrests come amidst broader concerns raised by authorities regarding the justice system’s handling of repeat offenders. It has been noted that “other hard core criminals who were remanded are being bailed giving them strong hearted to continue with criminality,” a factor that leaders believe undermines efforts to maintain peace and order within the community.
Investigations into the activities of the arrested individuals are ongoing, and they are expected to be formally charged once inquiries are complete. Local authorities reiterate their resolve to combat crime and ensure the safety and security of residents in Kwania District.
