AMURIA – The Office of the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Amuria has announced that all schools in Amuria District and the entire Teso Sub-region will officially reopen on Monday, September 14, 2026.
According to the RDC Amuria, Mr. Eseru Paul, all learners and teachers are expected to report to their respective schools without fail.
“During our school monitoring operations, no learner should be found loitering at home unless there is a very serious and genuine reason,” Mr. Eseru warned.
He urged parents and guardians to ensure that all school-going children are escorted to school on the opening day.
The directive applies to all primary, secondary and tertiary institutions in the district.
