School Director Aligi Johnson who Donated UGX 10 million to President Museveni’s 2026 Campaign, Celebrates Perfect 2025 UCE Results.

Kole, Uganda – 14 February 2026: Akalo Comprehensive Secondary School, a privately‑run institution in Uganda’s Kole District, announced on Friday that every one of its 126 candidates achieved “Result One” in the 2025 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations. The school’s headmaster, Mr. Ojok Alex Tonny, hailed the outcome as the best in the school’s history since its founding.
The 2025 UCE results shows, chemistry that was taught by the director himself ,mathematics and Biology as the best performed subjects.

“The students, their families and the entire school community have God’s blessings,” said Mr. Ojok. “I thank God Almighty for helping the students, parents, and the administration. I also congratulate my teaching staff for the hard work and commitment.”
When contacted the director Aligi Johnson said Chemistry emerged as the top‑performing subject, with a majority of learners securing A’s and B’s, followed by Mathematics and Biology. The school’s highest‑scoring female pupil was Amolo Rachel, while Otoo Henry topped the male cohort.
Year‑on‑year improvement:
In 2024, Akalo Comprehensive presented 114 candidates for the UCE, all of whom also passed with Result One. However, the 2025 cohort marked a notable rise in top grades, with 80 A‑grades compared with just 52 in the previous year.
“This is the best result I have produced as a headteacher,” Mr. Ojok added, noting that he has led the school for four years. “Since I started, we have been improving yearly.
The school’s director, Mr. Aligi Johnson, has also attracted national attention. On 7 January 2026, he publicly handed UGX 10 million to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. The donation was made to support the president for campaigns.
In a statement released after the hand‑over, Mr. Johnson proclaimed, “I am proud to contribute to the development of our nation and to support President Museveni’s vision. The people of Lango will see more success and victories ahead, especially as we prepare for the upcoming UCE 2026 examinations.”
The timing of the contribution has sparked discussion among local observers. While some community members view the gesture as a display of patriotism, others caution that the intertwining of educational accolades with political fundraising may blur the lines between public service and p

Parents and local leaders praised the academic achievement of Akalo comphriensive SS as a good step ahead.
“We are delighted with the students’ success and look forward to more opportunities for them,” said Apio Ja. “At the same time, we hope that any contributions to political campaigns are made with full disclosure, ensuring that the school’s reputation remains untarnished.”

With the next round of UCE examinations slated for later this year, Akalo Comprehensive aims to sustain its high standards. Mr. Ojok affirmed the school’s commitment to “working for the success of this school, the students, the community, and the nation at large.”
As Uganda’s political landscape heats up ahead of the February 2026 presidential vote, the dual narratives of academic excellence and political involvement at Akalo Comprehensive will continue to draw both local and national attention.
