NALI, KYANKWANZI, UGANDA — As the high-level NRM retreat for newly elected Members of Parliament enters its second day at the National Leadership Institute (NALI), Erute South’s Hon. Sam Engola has emerged as a key participant, signaling a unified front for the Lango sub-region.
In an exclusive interview with our reporter on the progress of the retreat, Hon. Engola expressed happiness, describing the induction process as an “interesting and transformative journey” for the 12th Parliament.

Demonstrating the party’s emphasis on cohesion and senior mentorship, the newly elected Erute South legislator was seen sharing a table and engaging in deep consultations with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gen. Jeje Odongo.
The duo, representing a blend of fresh legislative energy and veteran leadership, spent the afternoon discussing strategic development goals for Northern Uganda and the NRM’s broader national agenda.

“Everything is pushing on very well,” Hon. Engola noted. “We are here to align ourselves with the vision of our National Chairman, President Yoweri Museveni. This retreat is sharpening our focus on wealth creation, service delivery, and securing the future of our constituents in Erute South.”

The week-long retreat, which was officially opened by President Museveni, is focusing on ideological clarity and socio-economic transformation. For Hon. Engola, the priority remains clear: ensuring Erute South is at the forefront of the government’s program implementation such as; better roads, wealth creation, better health services, education improvrment and timely service delivery among others.
