Kyankwanzi, Uganda: The second day of the ministers’ retreat at the National Leadership Institute in Kyankwanzi featured interactive sessions and presentations from various guests.
State Minister for Northern Uganda, Hon. Beatrice Akello Akori, joined other ministers including Hon. Balaam Barugahara, Minister for Local Government , Minister of State for Relief, Disaster Preparedness and Refugees Lillian Aber, and Government Chief Whip Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng, who is also Lira City Woman MP among others during the ongoing retreat.
Also present was Justine Nameere, the Minister of State for Local Government.
Hon minister Beatrice Akello Akori expressed her willingness to implement the NRM government agenda, confront corruption, and improve service delivery as well as wealth creation among others in Northern Uganda .
The 8-day orientation retreat for newly appointed Cabinet and State Ministers opened on June 15, 2026, and focuses on ideological clarity, wealth creation, and accountability.
