“Mama Museveni” appointed to Obongi Health Centre IV management committee.

OBONGI – The Chairperson of Obongi District Local Government, Haji Buga Kemis Awadi, has appointed the Chairperson of the Obongi District Women Council, Hon. Aletiru Scovia alias “Mama Museveni”, as a member of the Obongi Health Centre IV Health Unit Management Committee (HUMC).
Haji Buga has also appointed Mr Guli Yusuf as Chairperson of the committee.
Other members of the committee include Mr Tawa Philip and the in-charge of Obongi Health Centre IV, Dr Owule Martin.
Ms Aletiru and her committee have already swung into action, monitoring the ongoing vaccination against Measles and Rubella in Obongi District.
The HUMC members have also embarked on mobilizing women to take their children for immunization in the ongoing national exercise taking place at various vaccination centres organized by the Ministry of Health.
