In an official message released to the public, the highly respected international jurist and 12th Parliament legislator urged the faithful to let the spirit of sacrifice inspire deeper compassion, grassroots unity, and continuous service to humanity.
A Message of Deep Faith and Unity:
Hon. Makmot Otto, who recently re-aligned his legislative focus toward supporting national economic growth following the parliamentary speakership elections, prayed that the divine blessings of this holy season would bring enduring stability and prosperity to local households.
“As we celebrate this blessed occasion of Eid Al Adha, may Allah fill your hearts and homes with peace, love, happiness, and endless blessings,” Otto’s official statement read. “May this Eid strengthen our faith, unite our communities, and inspire us to continue serving humanity with compassion and humility.”
Commitment to Serving the People
The Agago County legislator noted that the core values of the celebrations—sacrifice, obedience, and care for the vulnerable—beautifully mirror the leadership principles needed to transform rural communities.
“Wishing all Muslims in Agago County, Uganda, and the entire world a joyful and prosperous Eid celebration,” the MP added.
Supporters and local leaders across the Acholi sub-region have highly praised the legislator’s consistent, inclusive approach to leadership. They note that his message reinforces his commitment to working across all religious and political boundaries to drive development, improve local livelihood opportunities, and ensure that no family is left behind during his 2026–2031 legislative term.
