Agago Woman MP urges Ugandans to emulate faith and sacrifice of heroes.

The Minister of State for Northern Uganda and Agago Woman Member of Parliament, Hon. Beatrice Akello Akori, has called on Ugandans to uphold unity, peace, and service as the country marks Martyrs’ Day.
In her Martyrs’ Day message, Minister Akori paid tribute to the Uganda Martyrs who stood firm in faith and sacrificed their lives for freedom and Christianity.
“May Their Courage Inspire Us”
“On this Martyrs’ Day, we honor the heroes who stood firm in faith and sacrificed for our freedom,” Akori said.
She urged citizens to draw lessons from the courage of the Martyrs and use them to build a stronger, more peaceful Uganda.
“May their courage inspire us to uphold unity, peace, and service to our country,” she added.
Minister Akori also asked Ugandans to remain patriotic and committed to nation building, stressing that sacrifice and faith remain key to national transformation.
“God Bless Uganda”
She concluded her message by praying for the country: “God bless Agago District and Uganda as a whole.”
