Minister Sam Engola donates school uniforms to 456 pupils at Olilo Primary.

LIRA —The minister for Relief, Disaster Preparedness and Refugees Hon Sam Engola, has fulfilled his pledge to Olilo Primary School by delivering school uniforms to 456 pupils.
Speaking while handing over the uniforms on Friday evening, Engola said keeping children in school by curbing absenteeism and reducing dropout rates remains a top priority.
He said the donation builds on the ongoing rehabilitation of a two-classroom block at the school, funded at Shs 54.8 million.



“I will install a solar lighting system to facilitate learning and provide examination testing papers to help teachers prepare pupils for national examinations to make Olilo Primary School a model school in Erute South,” Engola said.
The minister added that he plans to establish a vocational school where dropouts can acquire computer and practical skills for holistic learning.
