RDC Hashaka, LCV Mambu, ARDCs lead national cleaning exercise in Koboko.

Koboko–The national cleaning exercise in Koboko District was on Saturday launched by the Resident District Commissioner (RDC), Mr Samuel Mpimbaza Hashaka, and the District Chairperson (LCV), Mr Mambu Ashraf, at Koboko General Hospital at 7:00am.
The exercise was also joined by the Assistant RDCs, Mr Baguma Rashid and Mr Aloro Habib.
RDC Hashaka and Chairperson Mambu thanked the UPDF, UPF(Uganda police Force) school children and wanainchi for participating in the cleaning exercise.
By 7:00am, the Koboko-South Sudan highway was closed to traffic to allow the exercise to proceed smoothly.
Speaking during the exercise, RDC Hashaka Mpimbaza Samuel, appealed to the people of Koboko District to always take part in the cleaning exercise to maintain a clean environment as a way of protecting themselves against diseases.
On his part, LCV Chairperson Mambu expressed disappointment over some community members who still have a negative attitude towards the national cleaning exercise.
After cleaning Koboko General Hospital, RDC Hashaka, LCV Mambu, ARDCs Baguma and Aloro led wanainchi, UPDF soldiers, police and school children to other parts of Koboko Municipality and other areas of the district to continue with the cleaning exercise.
