UPC President Jimmy Akena Obote to Embark on Three-Day Campaign Tour in Eastern Uganda.

Kampala – The Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) Party President, Hon. Jimmy Akena Obote, is set to embark on a three-day campaign tour across several districts in Eastern Uganda, aimed at galvanizing support for the party’s flag bearers. The tour is scheduled to commence on Sunday, November 30th, and conclude on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025.
According to an announcement made by Brenda Atim Kinyera, the National Vice Chairperson in charge of Mobilization, Hon. Akena’s itinerary will see him engaging with party structures and the electorate in Kaberamaido, Kalaki, and Serere districts.
The detailed schedule for the presidential tour is as follows:
Sunday, November 30th, 2025: Kaberamaido District
Monday, December 1st, 2025: Kalaki District
Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025: Serere District
The tour is a strategic move by the UPC to strengthen its grassroots presence and rally support for its candidates ahead of upcoming electoral processes. Hon. Akena is expected to address rallies, meet with local party leaders, and interact with community members to articulate the party’s vision and agenda.
