Obongi RDC Office Wins Prestigious Award for Outstanding Contribution to Family Planning
OBONGI, UGANDA -December 10, 2025: The office of the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Obongi has been honored with a prestigious award in recognition of its outstanding and tireless contribution to family planning in the district. The award was presented by ACOCEV, a partner organization that deals in health services in Obongi district and other districts in Uganda.
The award was received by RDC Obongi, Samuel Mpimbaza Hashaka, and his team, including Assistant RDCs Umuhoza Habiba Furaha and Komakech Robert, at the Obongi district headquarters. The ceremony was a testament to the RDC office’s commitment to improving the health sector in the district, particularly in the area of family planning.
In his acceptance speech, RDC Hashaka expressed his gratitude to ACOCEV for recognizing the RDC’s office as a key partner in improving the health sector in Obongi district.
