SOROTI, UGANDA – December 30, 2025 : As the sun sets on a year marked by resilience, transformation, and unwavering community spirit, Soroti City stands united behind one of its most dynamic young leaders—Sarah Inachu, the emerging beacon of change and hope in the Eastern Region.
In a powerful end-of-year message delivered to ecstatic supporters in the heart of Soroti City, Hon. Sarah Inachu—a rising political figure and community advocate—called on her fellow citizens to “rise stronger” in the face of past challenges and embrace the promise of a vibrant, united future.
“We seized glorious victories through unity,” declared Inachu during a spirited gathering at Soroti City Hall, her voice echoing through a crowd waving party flags and homemade placards reading “Sarah Leads the Way” and “Soroti Rising.” “The party primaries weren’t just a political milestone—they were a testament to what we can achieve when we stand together.”
Inachu, who recently made headlines for running a spirited campaign in the primaries, may not have clinched the final nod, but she captured something far more enduring: the hearts of a generation eager for bold, inclusive, and youth-driven leadership.

“Joy doesn’t come only from winning,” she reflected. “It comes from perseverance. From showing up. From proving that no dream is too big for a daughter of Soroti.”
Locals describe Inachu as a breath of fresh air in the political landscape—a leader who listens, walks the streets, and champions causes from girls’ education to sustainable agriculture and youth employment.
“Sarah speaks our language,” said Esther Apio, a small business owner and mother of three. “She doesn’t just promise change. She’s already creating it—mentoring girls, hosting clean-up campaigns, and uniting villages that once felt forgotten.”
Her message on this final day of 2025 was clear: resilience is not just surviving hardship, but using it as fuel.
“Let yesterday’s battles fuel tomorrow’s triumphs!” she proclaimed, her words met with thunderous applause. “We are not just rebuilding—Soroti is rising. And we will be unstoppable.”
Political analysts note that Inachu’s grassroots momentum, combined with her focus on transparency and civic engagement, positions her as a formidable future contender in the region’s leadership arena.
“She’s not just riding a wave—she’s creating one,” observed Dr. Denis Okware, a political scientist at Soroti University. “Inachu embodies the new face of leadership in Uganda—young, fearless, and community-centered.”
As the countdown to 2026 begins, Inachu is already laying the groundwork for broader initiatives, pledging to launch a “Prosperity Caravan” across the district in January—offering vocational training, health screenings, and leadership forums.
“To every child in Soroti,” she said, “dream like the sky is your classroom. To every elder—your wisdom is the compass that guides us. We carry this city forward—together.”
The event concluded with a communal candle-lighting ceremony, symbolizing hope, unity, and the enduring spirit of Soroti. As chants of “Long Live Soroti City! Long Live Sarah Inachu!” echoed into the night, the message was clear: a new chapter has begun.
