
Deputy RDC Ismail Masaba Commends Dokolo Teachers on Improvement in 2025 PLE Results.

Dokolo, Uganda – On Monday, February 9th, 2026, the Dokolo District Local Government (DLG) officially released the 2025 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) results, marking a significant improvement in the district’s performance. The event was attended by Deputy RDC Ismail Masanga, Hon. Woman Member of Parliament Sarah Aguti, District Internal Security Officer (DISO), education department officials, head teachers, teachers, spiritual leaders, parents, guardians, media houses, and the successful candidates.

According to the results, Dokolo District registered 3125 candidates in 66 PLE seating centers. The district’s overall pass rate improved, with a notable increase in the number of students who scored Division One and Two. This impressive performance earned Dokolo District the second spot in the Lango sub region.
Deputy RDC Ismail Masanga congratulated the teachers of Dokolo on their hard work, saying, “I can see how hard you worked on this, your creativity shines, and I am so proud of your progress.” He emphasized the importance of building confidence, fostering a positive environment, and encouraging continued effort among students.
Hon. WMP Sarah Aguti donated various educational materials, including mattresses, boxes, books, pens, pencils, mathematical sets, and pads, to the 136 students who passed in Division One. This gesture aimed to motivate and support the students in their future academic pursuits.
In his remarks, DRDC Masaba Ismail attributed the district’s success to the guidance and wisdom of H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. He expressed his gratitude to the government for its support and acknowledged the collective effort of teachers, parents, and students that led to the improved results.
The improved PLE results in Dokolo District are a testament to the district’s commitment to providing quality education. As the district continues to strive for excellence, the community remains optimistic about the future of its students and the impact of education on the region’s development.
