The Member of Parliament-elect for Erute South, Hon. Sam Engola, has called upon the people of Lango sub-region to turn up in massive numbers to welcome President Yoweri Museveni this Saturday.
The President is scheduled to visit Lango College grounds in Lira City on April 18, 2026, for a “Thanksgiving and Victory Celebration.”
Engola, who serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Organising Committee, expressed his gratitude to the committee chairperson, Hon. Joseph Ocwet, the Director General of External Security Organisation (ESO), for his leadership in coordinating the event.
Speaking to the press, Engola—also a Senior Presidential Advisor—assured the public that all preparations are complete. He confirmed that logistics, including meals, drinks, and commemorative T-shirts, have been secured to ensure a seamless celebration.
“Everything is set. We are ready to host the Fountain of Honor,” Engola said.
He further extended his appreciation to the people of Erute South and the NRM fraternity for their steadfast support. Engola urged residents from all sub-counties across the Lango sub-region to arrive at Lango College by 8:00 AM to witness the historic occasion.
