Prominent NRM cadre and leader of the Northern Drivers and Transport Network Association, Anyeko Bernard Masanga, has joined the nation in celebrating the 52nd birthday of the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
Anyeko described Gen. Muhoozi as a disciplined and exemplary military leader whose influence now spans military command, youth mobilization, and national ideology. He noted that at 52, the General has entered a “command phase” of leadership, fully established as a key figure steering Uganda’s peace.
Speaking from Lira City on Friday 24th, 2026, Anyeko urged residents of the Lango sub-region and surrounding areas to join the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU). He specifically called on those in the transport sector to support the General’s programs, requesting Gen. Muhoozi to initiate more projects specifically aimed at empowering young men and women in Lango sub- region.
Anyeko also rallied the public for the upcoming 52nd Birthday Run, scheduled for this Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds. The event, themed “Run for Charity, Run for Hope,” has gaines monentum in Lango sub- region.
“I wish everyone traveling from the North and other regions journey mercies to Kololo and back. To all my fellow drivers, remember our motto: Safety First,” Anyeko said. He emphasized his association’s readiness to work closely with General MK to further national development.
