Residents Laud RDC Paul Eseru for Top-Tier Mobilization

AMURIA, UGANDA – April 23, 2026: Residents of Amuria District have showered praise on their Resident District Commissioner (RDC), Mr. Paul Eseru, for his exceptional leadership and effective mobilization of the sub-region ahead of the Usalama kwa Wote victory celebrations.
The celebrations, which honor President Yoweri Museveni for bringing peace to the Karamoja, Teso, and Sebei regions, have seen a massive wave of support, which locals attribute to RDC Paul Eseru’s “boots-on-the-ground” approach.
Captain Angel, a prominent voice in the area, expressed sincere appreciation for Eseru’s tireless efforts in uniting leaders and stakeholders. “The strong response and unity we are seeing are a clear reflection of his effective mobilization. His dedication to an inclusive process has not gone unnoticed,” the Captain noted.
Service Delivery and Monitoring:
However, beyond the upcoming celebrations, Eseru is being hailed for his strict oversight of government wealth-creation programs.
Jane Adoa, a resident of Amuria Town Council, commended the RDC for his monitoring approach of the Parish Development Model (PDM).
“We feel the impact of government programs because the RDC is always in the field checking on us. He makes sure the money reaches the right people,” Betty Achom said.
Another resident, James Odongo, echoed these sentiments, congratulating the RDC for his commitment to the “spirit of peace, unity, and progress” in Amuria.
RDC Eseru, who is currently among those co-coordinating the high-level preparatory meeting at Soroti University this Sunday, has become a key figure in the Teso sub-region’s security and development agenda. His ability to bridge the gap between the government programs lije EMYOOGA, PDM, YLP, UWEP among others while monitoeing beneficiaries among the local community is seen as a major factor in the success of the various government projects and the upcoming Usalama kwa Wote (Peace for All) initiative.
In an interview with our reporter, Eseru assured residents of Amuria to know that tge prevailing peace on Teso, Karamona and Uganda as a whole, was brought by the NRM government under the vibrant leadership of General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
