A recent interview conducted in Lira City reveals that Otucu Boney is highly regarded as a hard working person because of his resilience, integrity, and good approach to the community while monitoring government programs. Known for his humility and strict adherence to presidential directives, Otucu has become a fixture in the fight against corruption and the promotion of economic empowerment guidelines.

June 22, 2024: Otucu officiated at a high-level health training organized by Lango Revoobit at Hotel Good News. He urged local and religious leaders to adopt healthy lifestyles to ensure they live long enough to see the fruits of NRM government development.
June 25, 2024: In a drive to green the city, Otucu joined Miss Tourism coordinator Northern Uganda, Gloria Alele, and Deputy RCC Odongo Stephen to plant trees at the Lira City Mayor’s Garden, emphasizing urban environmental conservation.
June 28, 2024: At St. Paul in Ngeta, Lira City East Division, he called upon the community to protect forest ecosystems by planting more trees as a safeguard against climate change.
November 2024 during UNEB Exams Season ARCC Otucu spearheaded a regional call for vigilance against examination malpractice, working closely with security agencies to ensure the integrity of national exams in Lira City.
Ongoing (Economic Drive): Working alongside RCC Emmy Lawrence Egole, Otucu has been leading a two-week fact-finding mission in government schools. He has focused on patriotism and economic empowerment, ensuring that civil servants are aligned with the government’s wealth-creation agenda.

Monitoring the “Money Economy”
Otucu has been instrumental in the grassroots monitoring of the Parish Development Model (PDM) and Emyooga programs. By engaging directly with beneficiaries, he has ensured that funds reach the intended households, earning him praise for his commitment to the “money economy.”
