Otuke ARDC Opio Opeo Akankwasa, Commends Gen. Muhoozi While celebrating his 52nd Birthday.
OTUKE, UGANDA- April 26, 2026: The Assistant RDC of Otuke District Opio Opeo has celebrated the 52nd birthday of the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba praising Kainerugaba as a vibrant leader.
The event, organized countrywide
featured a community charity run organized by the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) to promote health and charity donation to babies homes.
On Sunday, ARDC Isaac Opio Opeo Akankwasa emphasized that the event serves to inspire the youth of Otuke and other areas through the “vibrant leadership” and “revolutionary gains” of Gen. Muhoozi.
under the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU).He added that it was more than just a celebration; it was a nationwide gesture of solidarity aimed at promoting physical fitness and raising funds for better healthcare services for children.
In a separate interview, the Assistant RDC (ARDC), Isaac Opio Opeo a.k.a Akankwasa, addressed the media, describing Gen. Muhoozi as a “standby generator” whose steadfast leadership continues to inspire the younger generation.
“The youth in Otuke will draw great inspiration from CDF Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba. These events motivate us to stay active, united, and focused on government programs,” Opio (Akankwasa) stated.
He further lauded the wisdom of President Yoweri Museveni for providing counsel to Ugandans and preserving the “revolutionary gains” of the nation.
Similar runs were held across different parts of the country, including a major charity run at the Kololo Independence Grounds. Organizers emphasized that the initiative has successfully fostered discipline and stronger community engagement while consolidating the presence of the PLU structure at the grassroots level.
