The SACCO was formed following a meeting between President Yoweri Museveni and district youth leaders countrywide, where he advised youth to form SACCOs in all districts instead of remaining disunited.
Hashaka thanked Museveni for the guidance and congratulated Obongi youth for being among the first to register. He cautioned them against poor accountability and pledged an office at the President’s Office in Obongi.
