KOLE, UGANDA – December 18, 2025: As the 2026–2031 general elections approach, political attention in Kole South constituency, has turned to Hon. Okot Boniface, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) candidate for Member of Parliament. Known for his grassroots commitment and developmental promises, Okot is positioning himself as a beacon of progress, touting a platform centered on youth engagement, women’s empowerment, and infrastructure development.

Okot’s campaign emphasizes tangible projects aimed at transforming Kole South into a better area. Alii added that he ( MP Boniface) has pledged to establish new sub-counties to decentralize governance, promote sports as a tool for youth development, and advocate for women’s economic inclusion. Job creation and the introduction of a free ambulance service for healthcare access are also central to his agenda.

“It’s not just about words; it’s about action,” said Opio Benson, a prominent figure from Omatolongo Ward in Bala Sub-County. “Okot’s plans for roads, schools, and national-level connectivity reflect his understanding of our daily struggles. He’s the youth voice we’ve been waiting for.”

His pledge to protect existing gains while championing new opportunities aligns with a desire for inclusive growth. “He listens to the villages, from Bala to other corners of Lira,” said a supporter from a local village. “This isn’t just his agenda; it’s ours.”
