Wisdom High School-Akalo Advertises Bursar Position.
KOLE – Wisdom High School-Akalo, located 8 Kms along the Lira-Aduku road, has announced a vacancy for the position of School Bursar.
According to the vacancy announcement released by the office of the Head Teacher on September 7, 2026, the school is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to fill the position.
The school management said applicants must have at least three years of work experience in a relevant institution and hold at least a Diploma in Accounting and Finance or a relevant qualification with a bias in accounting.
Other requirements include computer and ICT skills in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint, and knowledge in managing QuickBooks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing cash flow, ledgers, payroll, statutory deductions and staff payroll schedules, preparing termly and annual budgets, managing QuickBooks, income and expenditure and the school pay system, as well as monitoring expenditure and advising management on financial decisions.
The school says the salary for the position is attractive.
